Maximal Housing

The goal of this project is to create affordable multi-residential building along Vermont Avenue. Built on the limited equity cooperative model, the Learn Link Co-op aims to connect the USC community with the South Central community under the umbrella of education. The bylaws and conceptual and physical organization of this cooperative housing strive to establish a community through co-living. Additionally, the project investigated the spatial potentials of unit aggregation through multiplication. Furthermore, climate factors (water, air, and sun) to minimize costs and maximize comfort were crucial.
